WEDNESDAY: 3 JULY SCOTLAND AND ST ANDREWS
On our first day we had a great flight. When I saw the house I was amazed. It was very big with 20 rooms with 2 stories including 3 bathrooms 4 bedrooms, 1 study, 2 dining rooms, 1 laundry, 2 TV rooms, 3 corridors, 2 locked rooms, 1 kitchen and 1 room that is like a reading room... The garden was huge and it had 2 green houses, 1 table outside, 1 garage and 2 bits of grass were you can play soccer/any sport on and there was a cat calld Fluffy.
After we looked at our house we went to St Andrews and had the best fish and chips in the world. After that we went to see a burnt down cathedral from the 1516's. It was very old and black.
THURSDAY: 4 JULY SCOTLAND AND HOME
Today mum and I stayed home while others went to play golf. After 1 and a half hours we went to a coffee place called the Jam Jar. That's all we really did today.
FRIDAY: 5 JULY SCOTLAND AND EDINBURGH:
Today we went to Edinburgh to go to Edinburgh castle but the line was too long so we tried to get ticket online but we needed a special app for that so we decided to have lunch and then go to the National Museum of Scotland.
After we had lunch we went into the museum. The first thing that caught my eye was the enormous clock. It was a sculpture that was meant to show types of human suffering. We went up the escalator to the science section. We did this thing that was meant to test your reflexes. There were buttons that lit up and you had to bang them and my score was 22. Not very good. Below is me in a racing car with a steering wheel. There was a screen infront of you and there was pedals that braked, reversed and accelerated but to reverse you had to hold the break pedal all the way down. After that we went to see the ancient section. We learnt alot. Then we got on a train and went home.

SUNDAY: 7 JULY SCOTLAND AND LOCH LOMOND:
Today was the best day of my life. Why? I will tell you. Well, we woke up, had breakfast and drove for about 20 mins before stopping at a cafe to have a delicious chocolate mocha. Then after drinking the delicious chocolate mocha we went back into the stinking hot car for another half an hour.
When we finally got there we went to hire a boat but the man said that there were no boats left so we went on the ferry. The ferry was ok but the man was a bit grumpy. We got to an island called Inchcailloch and went for a long trek that had so much nature that was beautiful like ferns, fox gloves which are a type of flower and this thing that looked like it was a tree turned upside down!
After we had a long gaze at the "upside down tree" we went down to the mini beach to jump off the jetty a couple of times. The water was freezing but it was soooo nice when I jumped in!

After we went to the jetty we walked over to the crumbled nunnery. There were graves everywhere! We walked on to the ferry and went back on the ferry over to the other side. Then after a scenic drive we went to a restaurant called the Drovers Inn. It was really funny because on their t-shirts it said that they won pub of the year in 1705! We had a delicious dinner there and we went back home.
This photo is at Sterling castle with our great uncle David. Callum was taking the photo if you were wondering where he was.
MONDAY: 8 JULY SCOTLAND AND THE FAIRY GLEN
Now when I say the Fairy Glen I don't mean there were fairies everywhere, the Fairy glen is a long walk that we walked. So. We all woke up and went to drop Callum, dad and Brad (a friend who is staying with us) down to play golf. Wile the others were playing golf, mum, Clare (Brad's wife) and I went down to do the walk in a boiling hot sun!(Here in Scotland the sun was so unusually hot!) We wanted to go the shadiest track so we went the steepest way. It was a long way until we actually got cooled down! We saw two enormous rocks!(That is the picture below)

We kept on walking until we saw some people swimming. That is when I thought that I should have brought some swimmers with me! We got a bit lost because there were no signes but we went the way that we thought was the right way. After a long time of "where are we?" and "agghh no not again!"'s we got to a big hill where we had the best view!
So we had a long walk back to the castle and when we got there, we noticed that we had gone in a total circle! This is a picture of Clare and me on one of the bridges on the walk.
We were dying of thirst so we thought there would be some water in the castle but it was a quarter to 6 so it was doubtful but luckily one man was still working there so we asked him if we could have 2 bottles of water and to have a look in the castle and he let us have a look for free! The castle was amazing and there was construction everywhere! There was this pit sought of thing where the guards would throw bad people in and to torture them even more they had the eating hall right next the pit!
We drove back to the village and bought some ice-creams. I had home made nutella flavoured ice-cream! The ice-cream was delicious but we had to go and pick up Callum, dad and Brad.
We waited for a long time but they never came! But when Clare was just about to call them, dad came into sight!
We drove home and had a delicious dinner and then went to bed.
TUESDAY: 9 JULY SCOTLAND AND FALKIRK:
Today we got up earlier than usual. We left our house at quarter to ten. If you were wondering where we were going we were going to the Falkirk wheel. The Falkirk wheel opened in 2002 by the Queen. here is a picture of the Falkirk wheel.

The Falkirk wheel is like a canal that moves.(That is the easiest way to put it!) There is a boat that goes on it and the wheel moves it around. The wheel bit is shaped like a Celtic axe. To me it was quite boring because it moved vvveeerrryyy ssslllooowwwlllyyy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And it was stinking hot and we all wanted to get an ice-cream! We finally hopped off the-now boiling boat. Walking back to the car was quick because dad had to get on a train to go to Nottingham. So we ran back to the car. The car was no better than the boat. The car having no air conditioning was ssssssssssoooooooooooooo HOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So we drove to the train station and dropped dad off. We were only 1 minute late!
After we dropped dad off at the train we went to this place called Dunblane. Dunblane is where Andy Murray comes from. We strolled around to see if there was any cafes to have lunch in. There was a nice looking cafe we could go to so we went in and ordered. The people working there were very slow but the food was delicious! We went for a walk up to the cathedral and went back. On our way back we spotted an Andy Murray cake that looked amazing! (And delicious!) But trying to avoid not sticking our heads in it we kept on walking. We jumped back into the car and drove back to Bridge of Allan (where we live) and had another ice-cream. We decided that we needed a brake from the car so we went down to the Bridge of Allan park. Callum finished off his ice-cream first so he had a swim in the river. I put my feet in the water and I decided that mum and I will go back home and grab my swimmers and to grab Clare's 500 page book.

I stepped into the water and thought it was warm enough so I ran to the other side and back for 1£. The I dipped my head under for another £, so in total I had 2£! We stayed there for another hour and then headed back home for dinner.
WEDNESDAY: 10 JULY SCOTLAND AND BRIDGE OF ALLAN:
Today we went to the Wallace Monument in Bridge of Allan. The Wallace Monument was built in the 17 hundreds and constructed in the 18 hundreds. It didn't look that old actually, But it sure was a long walk up! Once we actually got to the top of the hill I had no idea that we were going up the monument! On our way up the spiral stairs we stopped at some rooms. The first one had a life size William Wallace and he was talking. It also had his sword which was 6 foot 1!

We kept walking for about another 45 stairs until we arrived at the next room. The next room was filled with cardboard people so that you could see who you were related to a long time ago. I found out that the Knox family is related to Robert the Bruce!
THURSDAY: 11 JULY SCOTLAND AND ST ANDREWS:
Today we went to St Andrews to drop Callum off at the golf academy. While Callum did that mum and I went shopping for a kilt for me. We went into a lot of shops and finally we found a kilt just right for me. We also bought a present for my teacher and a present for my best friend.
After we went shopping we went to pick up Callum, then we went home.

This is me when we got home in my kilt and Scottish wig. I am holding a toy Highland Cow called Hamburger who we bought at the Wallace Monument.
FRIDAY: 12 JULY SCOTLAND AND ST ANDREWS:
Today we did the same thing as yesterday. We dropped Callum off and went shopping. But today we went to see a chapel.
This is a picture of the organ that was in the chapel.

After we saw the chapel we went over to pick Callum up. For lunch we went to a really nice hamburger place. Then we went to a ice cream place called JANNETA'S. I had sky blue which is a bit like blue moon which is a bit like caramel but it isn't because I don't like caramel. Then we went home.
SATURDAY: 13 JULY SCOTLAND AND SHERRIFFMUIR:
Today we went to this place called Sherriffmuir. We drove around and got a bit lost because no one knew what we were talking about! Finally we came to a spot where we could walk a couple of metres to the water.
The water was really nice once we got in!!!!
This is a picture of Callum and me going into the water slowly

When I went a bit more deeper I stepped on something squishy!!!! It was like moss and sand mixed together and I called it The Squishy. Finally I dived in and the water was soooooooo nice but I was scared of The Squishy so I swam really fast to get past it. Callum threw a ball to me but he threw way too far and I had to swim about 5 more metres to get it!!! After we did about 10 more of those we got out.
We went to a restaurant called The Crossed Keys which was really nice!!! There was a mini playground that was for little kids but the slide was really fast! When we got the bill they gave us 2 lollies. One of mine was made in England and was called a Refresher. There was sherbet and chewy yellow lollies in it and it was really nice!
We went for a little walk then we hopped back in the car and went home.
SUNDAY: 14 JULY SCOTLAND AND GLASGOW:
Today we went to Glasgow on the train. Glasgow is nothing like Bridge of Allan. It is more of a city not a town. In Glasgow we went to the science museum. At the science museum the first thing I wanted to do was do blade running. Blade running is where normally a person who has no legs or only one leg is able to run. The blade is metal and plastic and it is shaped like a banana. At first I thought it would be really hard but when it was my turn I did it easily!!! You couldn't put your heels down or else you would fall on your back. I got to run but I could only run slowly.
After we did blade running we went down to the level below us. This level had a lot of reflex stuff. the first thing I wanted to do was this brain thing. What you had to do was relax your brain so the ball in the middle will move to the opposite player. I beat Callum so then I versed mum but mum's brain was stronger so she won!!!!!!! Next I did a reflex thing. you had to move, twist, press and decrease stuff. It was really fun but you can't leave the thing hanging there or else you will lose!!!!!!
The science museum was almost closing so we had to go home, have dinner and go to bed.

MONDAY: 15 JULY SCOTLAND AND OBAN:
Today dad came back and we went on a long drive to a place called Oban. Oban was colder than Bridge of Allan but that was only because we went on a boat. On the boat we went for a long ride to a big rock. On the rock we saw seals up close!!! The seals were sunbathing. There were baby seals and mother and father seals. the babies were white and fluffy but their mothers and fathers were wet, grey and smooth.

After we got back from the boat we decided to get an ice-cream but unfortunately we couldn't find any ice-cream shops so we had to drive back home but on the way we topped at this really nice forest to stretch our legs. I tried to bouce a rock on the water but I couldn't but after some more my record was 3 bounces but no one could beat dad with his 5 bounces!!!
We stopped a second time to take a picture of mountains and................... ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
